Things You'll Need
- 1 1/2 sticks of melted butter, unsalted is best
- 3 cups of Oatmeal (Quaker Old-fashioned Oats!)
- 1 cup of sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon real vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- cookie sheet
- mixing bowl and spoon
- cinnamon
Instructions
- Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients.
- Pour the egg and vanilla into the well, and slightly beat the egg in the well.
- Pour the melted butter into the well, and then mix all of the ingredients together.
- Mixure should be sticky, but not too wet to drop onto a cookie sheet. If too wet, add a pinch more oats. If too dry, add another teaspoon of melted butter.
